Product Developer / Clothing Technician (m/f/d)

We are now looking for a product developer / clothing technician (m/f/d) part-time (30 hours/week) for the Munich location.

You bring with you:

Your tasks :

  • Participation in the development of new collections and product lines
  • Timely creation of technical production documents such as dimension tables and Teckpacks (Adobe / Excel)
  • Technical specifications and communication with suppliers in the production countries, in the development and production phase
  • Responsible for compliance with the seasonal/production calendar
  • Checking samples and prototypes for quality, fit and production technology until production release is granted
  • Quality control and travel to the production countries to ensure the quality standard
  • Production facilities and material sourcing
  • Initiate analysis of returns and quality improvements
  • Visiting fabric fairs in Germany

Our requirements:
You have at least 3 years of professional experience in the fashion industry and a completed degree/training as a clothing technician (m/f/d), and you already have experience in the area of ​​sustainable product development.

Your knowledge of international procurement markets and prices is current and comprehensive. You have in-depth knowledge of the goods as well as very good fit and dimensional accuracy

You have fluent English skills and a high affinity for design, enjoy working in a team, are flexible, have a “hands on mentality” and have the ability to understand, coordinate and control connections.
